I kind of like it

Diana Agron’s hair is pink. I love it. For some reason I want to be adventurous lately.

I ended up with a hair feather at BlogHer — I blame being out of my element — but after wearing it for a few days, part of me thinks that 4-6 sprinkled around would look fantastic.

Maybe I’m just saying that because I have no idea how to get it out of my hair. The stylist told me not to use conditioner around it, so part of me is thinking that I could soak my hair in conditioner overnight. Is that a good idea? How does one remove a feather extension at home?

You have to go to a hair salon that has the tools to remove your feather. They may charge. It is like $5. Not a big deal in the scheme of things. The other way is to cut it out. Diana Agron looks punk/homely. I guess that look grows on you. Looks like something I would wear at home when no one is looking.

Well that’s not too bad. My roots are in desperate need for a re-color, so I am thinking I will ask my stylist to take it out when I go, hopefully at the beginning of September. I like it, but I like to run my fingers through my hair!

I haven’t seen one of those feather extensions in person – I have no idea how you’d get it out!

Sometimes you just need to let loose with fashion! Now not that I’m going to be rocking a GaGa-esque look any time soon but I think I need to get some more brights into my wardrobe. Grey may be classy but surely there’s room for some orange too??

  4. I’ve been curious too! I like mine, but I’ve been paranoid that it will fall out if I comb too close to it or wash it too hard. It sounds like it’s not going to come out that easy. I actually wish mine wasn’t hidden SO much – it’s grown on me!
And I agree with Jennifer…NOT a fan of the pink hair. Pink highlights? Maybe. But not solid pink. :P

  5. I’ve been wanting to be adventurous with my hair too!!! Though I’m definitely not brave enough for pink hair :p. I want to see the feather! I’ve always though that looks cute! Any more trips to Dry Bar? That’s on my list to do too! You inspired me!

My feathers fell out after a few weeks.

I kind of want cotton candy pink hair, but it would completely destroy my length. Boo.

Maybe you could get some clip-in colored streaks? Fun, but without the commitment.
